Content X Design, Inc founded in 2013 by Kristin G. Hatch and Delaina J. Miller.
Kristin G. Hatch and Delaina J. Miller, both trained librarians, graduated and started creating blogs and websites to help narrow the digital divide. Kristin landed a library gig for a career college helping adult students find their feet to learn, research, and she encouraged them to see their dreams through. Delaina acted as a corporate librarian for a local Kansas company.
They soon found they wanted to help their community even more. So they started to help local authors self publish. Both writers, they found this work very rewarding.
However when Kristin’s parents’ health took a turn they once again changed with the demand of those that needed them the most. They began re-publishing some classics and created activity sheets to foster mental wellbeing for aging adults, along with coloring books that help caregivers and their charges maintain a sense of purpose and alleviate stress. They can also help smooth the administrative role of caregiving.
They are always looking for ways to expand their offerings. For example, Delaina took certificate courses so they could add Reiki and Sound Therapy to their list of services.
As a result they have helped publish and/or published over forty books, five albums, two singles, maintained the Etsy shop “Hello Caregiving” and created a YouTube Channel with the same name that features resources for caregivers as well as entertainment for aging adults focused on neurological challenges such as Dementia.
